Umbrella Review Writing Training Strengthens Evidence-Synthesis Skills

BELGI: Journal of Islamic Business and Decision Sciences is pleased to share the successful implementation of an Umbrella Review Writing Training conducted through a collaboration between STIS Al Wafa and the Doctoral Program in Management Science, Graduate School, Universitas Negeri Jakarta.

The training was designed for doctoral students in Management Science and focused on strengthening their capacity to conduct rigorous evidence-synthesis research. The sessions covered key methodological frameworks and assessment tools, including AMSTAR 2, ROBIS, and the Corrected Covered Area (CCA).

Through this training, participants were introduced to strategies for evaluating the methodological quality of systematic reviews, assessing the risk of bias, and measuring the degree of overlap among primary studies included in systematic reviews.

The activity reflects the shared commitment of STIS Al Wafa and the Doctoral Program in Management Science, Graduate School, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, to advancing research quality, methodological rigor, and scholarly publication. It also supports the development of doctoral research that is transparent, evidence-based, and relevant to contemporary management studies.
