Post-Publication Discussion and Corrections

BELGI: Journal of Islamic Business and Decision Sciences encourages scholarly discussion and constructive criticism of articles after publication to promote academic transparency, research integrity, and the continuous development of scientific knowledge.

Post-publication comments and correspondence. Readers who identify substantive issues, methodological concerns, alternative interpretations, or opportunities for further scholarly discussion concerning a published article may submit their comments or correspondence to the editorial office. Submissions must be scholarly, evidence-based, respectful, and directly relevant to the published work.

Editorial assessment and author response. The editorial team evaluates submitted comments for relevance, academic merit, and compliance with publication ethics. Where appropriate, the authors of the original article may be invited to provide a response. The editor determines whether the comment and response warrant publication following editorial assessment and, when necessary, independent expert review.

Corrections and retractions. When a published article is found to contain a significant error or raises credible concerns about research integrity, the editorial team investigates the matter in accordance with applicable publication ethics standards and COPE guidance. Depending on the findings, the journal may publish a correction, an expression of concern, or a retraction, as appropriate. Published notices will be linked to the original article to maintain a transparent scholarly record.

Editorial independence and ethical conduct. All post-publication submissions and related editorial decisions are handled fairly and independently. The journal does not accept defamatory, abusive, or unsupported allegations. Authors and readers are expected to engage in good-faith scholarly dialogue.

The submission of a comment or response does not guarantee publication. Editorial decisions are based on scholarly relevance, evidential support, ethical considerations, and the journal's editorial policies.
