Editorial Policies
Publication Frequency
BELGI: Journal of Islamic Business and Decision Sciences is published biannually (twice a year, in June and December). Special issues may be considered for emerging topics within the journal’s scope, subject to approval by the editorial board.
Article Selection Criteria
Manuscripts submitted to BELGI undergo a rigorous editorial screening and double-blind peer review. Submissions are evaluated based on:

Originality and contribution to the field of decision science and Islamic business.

Theoretical and methodological rigor.

Relevance to the journal’s focus on field research (quantitative and/or qualitative).

Clarity of presentation and adherence to academic writing standards.

Compliance with ethical guidelines and avoidance of plagiarism.
Language Policy
The journal accepts manuscripts written in English (US). Authors are expected to ensure grammatical accuracy and clarity of expression. Submissions that do not meet the language standards may be returned for revision or require professional editing prior to peer review.
Conflict of Interest
Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest that could influence the objectivity of the research, its review, or its publication. Conflicts of interest may include financial, institutional, collaborative, or personal relationships that may affect scholarly judgment.
Archiving Policy
The journal implements digital archiving to ensure long-term preservation of published content. Articles are deposited in indexing databases and repositories as soon as possible after publication. In addition, the journal encourages authors to self-archive their accepted manuscripts in institutional or disciplinary repositories, provided proper citation of the published version is included.
Corrections and Retractions
In cases where errors, ethical breaches, or instances of misconduct are identified in published articles, the journal will issue corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions in line with COPE guidelines.
