Peer Review Policy

Peer Review Policy

BELGI: Journal of Islamic Business and Decision Sciences applies a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the academic quality and integrity of all published articles. In this system, both the identities of the authors and the reviewers are kept confidential throughout the review process.

All manuscripts submitted to the journal undergo an initial editorial screening to assess their relevance to the journal’s scope and compliance with submission guidelines. Manuscripts that pass this stage are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, methodological rigor, clarity of presentation, and contribution to the advancement of decision science and Islamic business studies.

The editorial team makes the final decision on acceptance, revision, or rejection of a manuscript, taking into account the reviewers’ recommendations. Authors may be requested to revise their manuscripts in response to reviewers’ comments before a final decision is made. The journal is committed to maintaining transparency, fairness, and timeliness in the peer review process to uphold the highest standards of scholarly publishing.
